I totally embrace that life is filled with perspectives and depending on which colour of glasses we look through, we can see different aspects when observing the same thing. Today however, both Walter and I looked outside and saw something the same way.
The clouds where we are residing are constantly moving, evolving, dissipating, enveloping and creating a vision which makes me stop and appreciate the world around me. This morning’s clouds were low across the lake, making the other side all but disappear. Gregory commented it looked like we were a large plane, a piece of the earth travelling through the clouds like a plane does. Looking out at the landscape I could appreciate his perspective.
This afternoon Walter looked out and called this scene to my attention.
The white on the lake was astonishing. It seemed a pure reflection of the white clouds floating immediately above. We both had a similar reaction – it looked like a winter scene on the lake. Visually it appeared as if it could be frozen or partially frozen. I had to remind myself this is not a place where a lake would freeze – we are no longer living in the cold.
However, with both our reactions being similar – it would appear we may still be looking at the scenery from a cold perspective.
