We are now at the stage in the Master Key Experience where the class members are asked to refrain for having an opinion on anything (unless they are asked and they are an expert on the subject). This is something I consciously worked on during the 2 week stint we were initially requested to refrain within. I was however somewhat lax in my retention of this perspective. Hence the 365 day blog. Keeping this matter forefront in my daily life for a year!
Walter looked at me today and said it must be a challenge to have a job which requires you to provide an opinion all day long. I am a relocation consultant and summarize details on specific real estate matters.
I got to thinking…must I have an opinion in order to do what I do? I’m thinking… NOT. I do need to have significant depth of knowledge in order to inquire further on the detail provided. I do need the ability to disseminate the information gathered and prepare it in a way which is specific, measurable and supported. I do need skill to gather the information. However, I do not need to have an opinion.
I will never be able to look at what I do in the same way again. I am a consultant. I do not offer an opinion, I offer details with supporting documentation after having reviewed the available angels for all the pertinent data. What my client does with that information is an opinion!

Sounds like years of expertise! No opinion there! 🙂
Agreed Heather – so does someone hire an expert for their opinion or their expertise? LOL
An Angel Comsultant for relocation!!!
Love it!
And soooo true!!!
Even as a healer, skill is essential and professional observations a requirement
But
We can choose freedom from opinion !!
Great insight
Mahalo! Yeah – I choose Freedom from Opinion!
