Which comes first: Faith or Belief? – DoWoo# 68/365

I  recognize my future reality needs to be embraced now.  How else are we to shift the framework of our space in this form other than to alter our thoughts, allowing them to take hold and manifest our vision once we truly believe?  How are we to believe that that which we envision is to become a reality? We must have faith. How does one have faith? We must believe.

BeliefandFaithFaith and belief. Which comes first? Are they one and the same? Does it really matter?

Mark J teaches us when we combine a thought with belief and feeling, we can alter our reality. Which one do we concentrate on first? In drafting my DMP (Definite Major Purpose), I started with thoughts and then decided whether I believed them to be true and then I added feeling to them.

Why not start with feeling? If you find a feeling within yourself, something which resonates on a frequency all its own. Identify what that feeling is – describe it.  Then allow the feeling and its description to show you the vision – belief will be entwined already. This vision is my truth.

Tonight I concentrated on the feeling which runs through me when I listen to a thunderstorms in the distance with rain forest creatures commenting in tune.  The feelings bring visions of living in the rain forest, waking up to the sounds – painting with the sounds in the background – enjoying quiet reflective time with my family – always the sounds in the background.  I am at home in this vision. This vision is my truth.

Reason to go to University? – DoWoo #65/365

Woo Hoo!  18% completed with only 300 more to go! Can you believe it?  I am so in the groove! Also doing a happy dance because we ordered our holiday card already – so we will have it way before the season is in swing.  We usually get this out the 3rd week in December and am  now looking forward to getting it out before December!

540_293_resize_20130401_8d14a9551fd0cfee60a9ae4d71b34bc3_jpgWalter and I went to a seminar today which was quite interesting to observe.  Much of what we heard was in alignment with what we are doing in the Master Key. Allow me to share a few takeaways.

When you adopt a “Wealth” mindset – Failure & Mistakes are now considered Research & Development.

And the main speaker explained, after he shared that he and his wife of over 30 years had 10 children:  “My kids go to university not to learn how to get a job but to learn how to socialize with the people who will work for them.”  Whoa!

What do you think?

Selfie Taking Pause – DoWoo #56/365

These few days have been a time of firsts.  First time going away on business for my new MLM. Fist time to be in the immediate presence of so many people of like mind and teachings (outside of training). First time spending significant time (3.5 continuous days) with a group of people who are not immediate related. First time to consciously take time to listen to others.

Whoa….that last one is a biggie for me – something I wish to truly improve. Upon reflection I recognize I did not do as well with this as I had thought.  Better than I would have before but not as good as I had wanted to.  I had not been as consciously aware enough. You need to be “in the moment” aware in order to benefit from the full impact of each moment.

I L.O.V.E – LOVE it – when the Universe re-arranges multiple aspects to point out a particular lesson we are in the midst of needing to learn  RIGHT NOW!

OK – stay with me here for a moment.

I have a picture in my mind of who I am.  Who I truly am BEING in this world, in my specific period of time – my life.  One of the aspects I need to learn is to be is more aware.  Be in the moment. Then to recognize the signs being shared by the Universe to drill the message home. I was personally present on Saturday to hear John Maxwell speaking on 3 laws within his book “15 Invaluable Laws of Growth”.  The 3rd being the one which resonated most.

After sleeping off my travel I sat down to write my DoWoo.  I opened my phone reader to John Maxwell. and it was left where it was last read – within the chapter on Reflection.  This section outlines the Power of Pausing

20141025_130710I got to thinking….

  • In order to grow one must learn
  • To learn one must adjust
  • Adjustment results from pausing
  • One needs to pause in order to reflect
  • Reflection requires being aware
  • Awareness is required in the moment.

Awareness. Reflection. Pausing. Adjusting. Learning. Growth.

I take pause.

My new life begins, as a new me, being more aware.  That same day I heard John Maxwell, I took my very first “selfie” at Long Beach, CA.

AND so my new life begins.

Very Well Done – DoWoo #55/365

Very Well DoneA 4 day whirlwind in Los Angeles – a trip which has shifted my perspective on what I know is important to me. The great news is that it was an amazing 4 days. The not so great news is that I am too tired to fully share my views today. If I was food right now – I’d be “very well done”. Almost wish I still drank coffee! More details tomorrow. Blessings to all.

Preference versus Priority – DoWoo #54/365

q2Was at the training event today soaking up the information being shared.  One of the speakers commented that we need to ask ourselves whether what we are about to do is a preference or a priority?  Is our dream – our definite major purpose – going to be aided by our actions or not?  Is this action feeding temporary satisfaction or is it supportive of long term gain?

Today I listened.  Today I absorbed.  Today I learned.  All of these actions were supportive of my long term gain.    This is certainly a great space to be in.   I am grateful for this space.

Maps versus GPS – DoWoo #53/365

GPS-find-your-business-imageYesterday I was the navigator using the GPS from the airport to our rental house.  Today I chose to do the driving with yesterday’s driver being today’s navigator.

On the way back to Anaheim this evening I was unable to position myself easily, where I was in relation to where I was departing from and where I was going to.  Many people I know use GPS. Why does it not seem to solidify as well as a map within my brain?

I do not own a GPS and have only used one once prior to this weekend.  I have always used maps. When I review a map, I can see where I am in relation to where I am going.  I pay attention to the streets I am going past and if I get off kilter I review the map I referenced earlier (in my memory) and am able to shift myself getting back on track to my destination.

mapsMaps give you the entire overview before you leave. GPS are typically set up to inform you of each step as you go.  I’ve been told they can give you the overview – I’ve just never seen anyone use it that way.

Upon reflection – I liken this to how one chooses to deal with their dreams.  If you have a plan (a map) you now have a clear understanding of where you are in relation to where you are going. Then if you get off track, you reference your final destination within your memory and shift yourself until you are back on track with your destination in front of you.  OR you can just live each day following the immediate instructions being given with a ‘recalculation’ each time you take a wrong turn.

For me I’m going to stick with map.  I prefer making the recalculations myself.  You? Is your preference:

A) MAP                  or                   B) GPS

LA in Harmony – DoWoo #52/365

Branched out on my own with a different network marketing company earlier this year.  Until now Walter and I had always worked together.  This is a huge shift. Especially because the group of people who I am befriending are not connected to who I am as one part of a couple – they are connecting because of me being me.

It’s an interesting experience to be alone with a group rather than being a couple in a group.  It is a shift in my person – a shift in who I am and can be.  I am blessed to be here in Los Angles with 8 other partners who are all in a similar space of growth, love and harmony.

Unlimited possibilities are available to me.  To us. To our team as we grow.  We rock.  Thank you!

No Speed Bumps on the… – DoWoo #48/365

Was speaking to a colleague of mine earlier this week and was reminded of a conversation I had with one of her team.  I was on assignment, in the capacity of what I called a “plug and play VP”, for 14 months when one of the young ladies in the department looked at me and said “It’s not possible”.  I asked her what wasn’t possible. “You…being in such a positive frame of mind all the time.”

The response I used then is very similar to an analogy I used this evening when conversing with someone about thriving rather than surviving.

extra_mile speedBumpI explained: “We all have 2 choices in the morning – we can be happy or sad. When crap happens – because it can and does – it’s all in how you look at it. I consider it to be a small speed bump in the parking lot of life. I may run over a few when I stop to refill the gas tank – but once I’m back on the freeway – there are no speed bumps there!! “

The same way there are no traffic jams on the extra mile,

there are no speed bumps on the highway.

My observation for today: It’s all about choice.

ALL Things ARE Possible – DoWoo #47/365

giraffe-love-317x630Our son wanted to draw something this evening and asked me what animal I would choose. I suggested a giraffe.  He asked to see what the pattern looked like so he did it correctly.

I pulled up a Google search on images for giraffes. In perusing them, we came across the most amazing picture – something I could not imagine how it was accomplished. We both had to laugh loudly!

I immediately sent it onto our coach and mentor Mark Januszewski – he has a “thing” for giraffes (a different story for a different time). His response was perfect:

“All things are possible.”

This is a man who truly understands and embraces this concept.  I aspire to have his conviction and depth of belief.

Mahalo my friend! We’ve got your back!

Give More: Get More – DoWoo #40/365

One of the philosophies we embrace early on within the Master Key Experience is:  “Give More: Get More”.  There are a number of twists on how to translate the meaning of this phrase.

quote-try-not-to-become-a-man-of-success-but-a-man-of-value-look-around-at-how-people-want-to-get-more-albert-einstein-226629

I went to a networking event this evening. On the way there I chose to plug in and listen to a Success CD. Daren Hardy was interviewing 2 people on networking (!) and what were they talking about….Give more in order to get more!

The more you give

The person who ran the even used to run a non-profit offering assistance to single moms. She told me she gave up the thoughts of concern for what she would need to live on – just allowed and embraced knowing she and her daughter would be taken care of – and she was. Give more and you will get more.

more-than-you-already-have-giving-back-picture-quote

On the way home I’m listening to another CD and it’s about social media. An interview with Gary Vaynerchuk and his book “Jab, Jab, Jab, Right Hook” which is all about give, give, give, ask.  Give more to get more!

GIVE-MORE-T-SHIRT

My intent for going to this network marketing event was to connect with someone I could offer my personal assistance to; allowing me to use my creativity and be helpful at the same time – my 2 Personal Pivotal Needs. Give more to get more.

Jimmy’s White Noise – DoWoo #38/365

It is 8:08 on the 8th of October and I am writing about Jimmy – our lucky cricket.  If you’ve been following my DoWoos – we introduced James T Cricket for my 23rd post. Unfortunately he joined our family for only a short period of time. However, after we put James T into the garden we were introduced to another cricket.  Greg named him Jimmy to differentiate.

Jiminy-Cricket-4Jimmy has been with us for a week now and the most interesting difference is he not only chirps all night long – he chirps all day long too (even when the light shines into the room he is in.  He continues to chirp when we say good morning, put food into his jar, add watered q-tips and even when we move the jar to a different room.  AMAZING!

white_noise_1_by_falln_stock (1)It has become so consistent it is (almost) like white noise.  I’ve caught myself a few times to listen for him to make sure he is OK.  What I found was that he was still chirping but I was not hearing him.

Have you ever had a cricket outside your window on a hot summer’s night?  Crickets are not quiet!  So…how could this be?

How much of what we hear every day has become white noise to us?  What information is reaching our cognitive abilities without us even being aware?  This makes me take pause and reassess my environment.   I wonder…what is your Jimmy White Noise?

Power to Create – DoWoo #37/365

SnoopyHappyDanceHappy dance of Joy. I am 1/10th of my way to 365 consecutive days of DoWoo-ing.  It’s interesting…everyone once and a while I’ll start to have a thought….‘Wow! I never could have imagined doing this!” Then I immediately stop myself and say “Aha! Now THAT is an opinion!”

I DID imagine doing this! I decided just over a month ago to change how I allowed my thoughts to relay information as being my reality.  I took everything we learned in the Master Key class, everything I’ve learned by reading Haanel, Og, Deepak, Wayne…(so many others) and embraced, truly embraced, that I have the power within me to create anything I chose to create.

If I imagine it, it is my reality.

Because by just imaging it, it becomes a possibility.

And because it is a possibility, it is a probability.

And since it is a probability, it is my reality.

Chocolate or Fruit – DoWoo #35/365

I got to thinking of how blessed our son is, who at the age of 9 has 3 of his grandparents still around.  I had only 1 out of my 4 when I was little and that grandmother was gone when I was 5. My mom had lost her father when she was nine and my father had lost his mother when he was 5.  My husband did not meet his grandparents as his grandfathers died in the war and his grandmothers were back home in the Ukraine which he did not get to while they were alive.

This evening I came across a picture of my husband, his sister and parents. Walter was maybe 1 or 2 years older than our son. His parents are now 71 years married (say it with me…WOW!) and his father just turned 92!

I truly feel blessed to be a part of my husband’s family and I am beyond grateful my son has this opportunity to know his grandparents.  I then allow myself to embrace the vision of us being grandparents – being here to help with our grandchildren.

The question which then comes to mind: When they come to visit, will I give them chocolate or fruit? I may wish to ponder this question for some time. Дуже дякую.   What would you do?

Difference of Opinion – DoWoo #34/365

flessNot that I had an opinion…LOL…maybe it was a just a difference of perspective.  Walter was at a regional training for his business today. I figured Greg and I could go walk around a flee market – something we’ve never done before.  He likes “family time” and he likes “garage sales” and doesn’t mind “shopping” as long as there is something, somewhere, in there for him. So I figured we could go to a place I have not been in probably 10 years and walk around on a rainy day.  I had planned to give him $20 to allow him to find something he would like to purchase.

When we arrived it was not open for another hour  Decided we’d go shoe shopping at Walmart (kids feet continue to expand in length – go figure!).  He decided he would much prefer to spend $20 on Pokemon cards which he had not done in a while. I acquiesced with the agreement that we would not open the Pokemon until we were done at the flee market – just in case he found something he wanted to purchase there as originally intended.

He was a trooper as we walked around the first of four buildings. He found nothing he wanted. In actual fact he did not really look at anything. When I wanted to go to the next building he asked to go home (obviously to open his Pokemon). We agreed on 15 minutes and he immediately set his watch alarm for the allotted time. After giving me the count down at least 4 times over the course of 15 minutes – we left, went home, and he asked to open his purchase.

Focus-On-Your-DreamsWhat I observed today was a boy who knew exactly what he wanted, figured out a way to get it, went along with the requirement, ignoring all other possible temptations and focused on the final outcome.

I was just along for the ride. But what a ride I’m on.

24 Hour Non-Drowsey – DoWoo #26/365

531629Had a number of ear, eye, nose and throat symptoms this week …which after a few days we decided to try Claritin. This is not something I’ve used more than once.  So maybe it would help.  Walter came home with a package of non-drowsy 12 hour Claritin. However, he explained – there were choices: what he brought home and a double dose with the package reading “non-drowsy 24 hour Claritin”.

I ask you….Why would someone with allergies wish to stay in a non-drowsy state for a full 24 hours?

Feel free to elaborate on your position – I’m asking your opinion (since I’m attempting to remain without opinions). Cheers!

Identify; Don’t Compare – DoWoo #22/365

Was speaking with someone today about our network marketing business when she made reference to how she felt when someone else got up at an event who had reached a certain goal – and she had not; or someone had got all the initial starting perks – and she may not have. I immediately was reminded of the advice given to me by a recovering alcoholic – “It’s OK to identify with others; just don’t compare.”  I shared the advice I had been given.

Yolo-Award-CeremonyVectorToons.comThere will be a time when someone stands up to be acknowledged for having successfully reached their goals. Be supportive and cheer for them. There will be a time when someone is not able to stand up to be acknowledged as they have not reached their goal as yet.  Be supportive and cheer for them.

Every person who stands up to be acknowledged was once seated. Every person who remains seated will at some point stand up – either to be acknowledged or walk away – their choice.  We are in fact both of these people at all times.

However, neither of these other people standing or sitting has any bearing on our journey. Recognizing where we are, identifying with those who have reached their goals, identifying with those who have not – allows us to clearly see where we are, and what we wish to do to be where we want to be. That is all.

red carpetNo comparison required. No beating oneself up for having not “got there yet”. It does not have any bearing on any positive aspect of our existence or how we relate to the other person. Relish in where you are. Aspire to be all that you wish to be. Identify with others and embrace their journey as their own. Now embrace yours as it is meant to be at this singular moment in time.

Thank you for stopping by – if you like what you read – please share! If you want to share in my journey, please choose to follow me. I wish you and abundance of blessings!

Family – DoWoo #20/365

The message abounds within my life right now – FAMILY!

I am seeing what I am meant to observe – truly observe.  Witnessing family members adjusting in order to care for a parent.  Seeing the enormous strength which my husband is within.  My son asking what is better: a loving life or a rich life?  Request for us to spend even more “family time” together.  I observe that all of this is to remind me that as hard as we work, as hard as we strive and dream and persist towards our dreams – nothing matters if we don’t have our family.

I sent a picture to a friend of ours today (below) with the intent to share in the vast differences our countries offer (she lives on an island).  I’ve been here: stunning representation of that spot!

1085 (1)Her reply made me take pause.  “That’s Gorgeous. I would trade you if my family was there.”

What phenomenal sentiment. To appreciate and yet know you would remain, or move, as long as your family was there.

In answer to Gregory’s question – “A rich life is a life filled with love.”  What do you think?

Love the Universe – DoWoo #18/365

I love how the universe works!

Grand_Universe

Now…is that an observation….or an opinion?  I’m going to go with it being an observation of my feelings – and allow it to flow from there!

Today’s Inspirational Quote:  “If a problem is fixable, if a situation is such that you can do something about it, then there is no need to worry. If it’s not fixable, then there is no help in worrying. There is no benefit in worrying whatsoever.”   — Dalai Lama

Yesterday’s DoWoo was about not worrying and remembering to be HAPPY!  The universe knows I am in the middle of assisting with the Worldwide Launch of the 2014/2015 Master Key Experience Course which goes live in 10 days. The universe has observed I have a consulting business which requires my attention. The universe is aware I spent time with my mom this week. And finally the universe knows I  made a commitment to blog my DoWoos for 365 days.

So….the universe provides my daily inspirational quote in a way which inspires observation without opinion.  How very blessed I feel.  I have no worry – as there is no benefit.  I have no opinion – as there is no benefit!

Be happy knowing the universe loves you right back!

Be Happy! – DoWoo #17/365

Today’s Inspirational Quote – George F. Burns:

“If you ask what is the single most important key to longevity, I would have to say it is avoiding worry, stress and tension. And if you didn’t ask me, I’d still have to say it.”

I observe that happiness truly is a choice.  We get up in the morning and we have complete control over how we perceive ourselves and our place in the world; how we look at the day and it’s place in the whole scheme of our life.  I cannot imagine meeting my maker and saying “I wish I worried more.” or “I wish I’d had more stress in my life.”  Can you?

Today I had to realign my thoughts (again).  The good news is….I realigned my thoughts!

Desire: Allow: Observe: Receive – DoWoo #15/365

Many teach that whatever you desire will materialize. How is this possible?  AND how does one go about doing what appears to most to be an impossible undertaking.

impossible

If you believe that it is possible but just don’t know where to start, allow me to recommend you consider the Master Key Experience. I learned about the science behind what we see and feel and think about and then most importantly about the ‘how’ to go about manifesting whatever possibility you can imagine. What you think about does materialize.

  1. Greg left one of his crocks at Wild Water Kingdom.  I know….how does only 1 crock get left? Turns out he kicked the crocks into the foot well of his back seat AS he was getting into the car to go home. 1 crock did not end up IN the car – but we did not realize it till we were at home in the driveway. We checked the parking lot the next day but no luck. Greg loves his crocks! Walter went to Walmart the following day to see if he could find another pair.  He even had one of the sales associates help look. No crocks left!
  2. I’ve recently released 15 lbs.  My favourite pair of grey leggings fall down now. It’s a great feeling….(sort of).  Unfortunately I’ve not seen these particular, and extremely comfortable, leggings again since I purchased the first pair.
