The Synchronicity of It ALL – DoWoo #93/365

Pieces of my life just keep getting more intertwined. We have people who have come into our lives who we think are in our life for one particular reason and then BAM! you interact in a totally different way and something completely unique starts to unfold.

137038I recall reading “The Spontaneous Fulfillment of Desire” by Deepak Chopra. Although it has been over 10 years one of the things I recall him outlining was once you are aware of something – say you just purchased a yellow mustang convertible, you will immediately start seeing other yellow mustang convertibles, yellow cars, convertibles everywhere. Coincidence? Or Synchronicity?

I reached out to a colleague of mine about our business today. Our two and a half hour conversation included about 10 minutes (towards the later part of the chat) about why I had asked to connect. The rest of the time we went off onto other tangents and ended up inspiring each other in totally different avenues we had not even known about each other until this talk.  Design or Coincidence?

One of the things I do know how to work with is when something inspiring happens – I run with it. I don’t look at it and ask why or ignore it because it was not what I was originally looking for. I am already envisioning the ideas we discussed and am truly excited to hear the results of my friends action as it unfolds.

1065303669While searching for a picture of Deepak’s book, I ran across other interesting images. An excerpt from the book about a man’s proposal.

I can relate my own SynchroDestiny here. The day I met my husband Walter. Both our first time to an event our employers required us to attend. Neither of us wanting to be there after a long day at the office. Seeing each other for the first time across our assigned table. Our emails crossing in cyber-space the next morning. All leading to what we have today!

8578999595_8b08bb55ce_zI also saw a picture which struck me as totally stunning…and this quote:

“The trees must breathe so I can breathe.” Deepak Chopra

How apt is that?  We are all part of the whole. We are all intertwined. We affect each other and are there in order to serve one another.

080a143dcd603738f89d748966b44c14AND lastly I found instructions on how to allow this universal energy to speak to you – to aid you in revealing and recognizing your direction.

This is how I started to paint at 46 years of age – finding a talent I did not know existed within me.  Imagine what else is within which I have not unlocked?

What do YOU have within you which is just waiting to be revealed?

yeah_1

I thank you for stopping by and allowing me to share in this journey. It has certainly been an interesting roller coaster of a ride. I look forward to the balance of twists and turns. I’m all buckled in and have my two men beside me.

What more could one woman ask for?

Enjoy your day and may it be filled with an abundance of blessings. Just remember they may not look exactly like what you expected. Cheers!

Deconstruction Zone Ahead – DoWoo #92/365

74310_pie_1-4_lgI am officially 25% of the way to reaching my goal set 92 days ago!  Now THIS is what I need to do with everything in my life – treat it like this blog realignment journey.  So what is “THIS“?

promise-29013223Three and half months ago made a decision I wanted to be a person who was capable of observing what happens on a daily basis without allowing opinions to cloud and complicate it. The idea to accomplish this was to write daily about my journey of self-realignment!  Thereby what we concentrate on…grows!   I deconstructed what I would need to do. Set a time frame for when it would be reached by (understanding it is about the journey and not necessarily about the destination). I made a promise to write every single day. And so every day I take one step towards this envisioned outcome.

take-first-step-e1373270852946The best part is that I KNOW when I’ve had a challenging day – and sometimes I’ve had days filled with the results of opinions – this is just one step towards my end result. There is a count up to the end (not a count down – which could be a whole other discussion for observation consideration).

A friend commented that she aced the exercises the past few weeks – where we were to envision the deconstruction of the battleship and a creation of a flower from a seed.  She said she was now doing this with her DMP – her written Definite Major Purpose. How very cool! Everyone is in your life to share something with you – to show something to you – to teach you something. She did this for me today. The observation need not be mine to be recognized and appreciated!  She made me realize I had almost sunk my battleship.   I am most grateful!

We cannot have what we envision unless every day we take a step towards that vision in mind. We may have challenging days where nothing seems to happen but in reality every day is one day closer.

deconstruction_self_portrait_by_th3w_san-d33mhadFull deconstruction of my future reality is on the docket for tomorrow.  Stay tuned.

Today’s Circle of Life! – DoWoo #91/365

Today was a sad day for our son. His last fish started exhibiting signs he may not be with us for much longer.  6 years ago we had turned his bedroom into a “Nemo” theme room for a surprise and then Santa brought him a fish tank that Christmas so he could have his first pet. He was 3-1/2 at that time.  When we went to the fish store we explained he could pick whatever type of fish he wanted from the fresh water section. He chose an Albino Shark.

finding_nemo_bruce_aquarium_backgroundAnd wait for it…he named the shark… BRUCE!

“FIsh Are Friends Not Food!”

There were others: Another shark he named Coco (?) and 3 barbs he named A, B and C. You could tell which ones they were by their size – A being smallest, B a bit larger and C the largest.  Unfortunately the others died (some after being nibbled on by Bruce we believe).  Bruce has been a loner for about 4 out of the 6 years we’ve had him.

It was an interesting experience to watch how our 9 year old deal with this possible news. At first he kept going back into the room to keep Bruce company. After a bit he asked if we had any cardboard he could use to make a head stone for when we bury him outside – beside Jimmy the cricket’s stone and our previous dog urn.

We’ve added treated water and adjusted the tank to maximize his comfort. You never know – Bruce (shown below) may rally and continue on with us a bit longer. We’re routing for him!

BruceThank you for allowing me to share today’s observation of the Circle of Life. We are all blessed.

“I Told You So” – DoWoo #90/365

told-you-so-meterI had to tell myself this today!  Not only did I dislike saying it, I did not take the news well at all!

Many have written it, spoken it, coached it…the fact remains “What we think about grows”.  It is the crux of the law of attraction. So, now you are in on the dilemma and what I told myself “I told you so” about!

I know we have a choice when we get up every morning. We can choose happy or sad; pleased or upset; grateful or unappreciative; enthusiastic or …well, I’m sure you get the point.  I know that what we concentrate the most on, the universal mind receives a booster shot filled with the message we are thinking about.  I also know that a thought, supported by a belief, when fueled by feeling, the universe will move everything needed to make it true.

How easy is it for us to have that negative thought, and believe that with all that is going on…it must be true, and then propel it to it’s reality by injecting it with frustration and fear?

Why does it seem more of a challenge to have that positive thought, believe in our hearts that we are deserved of this good fortune, having the universe shine brightly down upon our dream, and then to fill it up with premium enthusiastic pure 100% joy?

Did someone say that life had to be difficult?

Or is it possible we choose to believe challenges which are only introduced to us as lessons to teach us and to help us to find our inner strengths, we instead choose belief that the challenge is our due and all part of this thing  called “life”?

I wish I could just shake myself sometimes. Tell myself to suck it up and get with the program. Everything I need is right there within me.  It has always been there.  I’ve just spent a lifetime complicating it and allowing it to get the better of me.

It’s all about perspective and it’s not always what it appears at first glance.

I am reminded of a story I’m sure most of us will remember. I continue to ponder my day until midnight – when today ends – and realign in the moment.  Tomorrow I will great this day with LOVE in my heart for everyone I meet AND myself!

Footprints in the Sand

1151992One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord.  Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.  In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand. Sometimes there were two sets of footprints, other times there were one set of footprints.

This bothered me because I notice that during the low periods of my life, when I was suffering from anguish, sorrow or defeat, I could see only one set of footprints.

So I said to the Lord, “You promised me Lord, that if I followed you, you would walk with me always. But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life there have only been one set of footprints in the sand. Why, when I needed you most, you have not been there for me?”

The Lord replied, “The times when you have seen only one set of footprints, is when I carried you.”

The “Key” Affirmation – DoWoo #89/365

The_Master_Key_SystemA year ago I was on the Master Keys Journey for the first time – now I am one of the Guides being available to support this years members so they may embrace the teachings incorporated within this Master Keys Experience.

As Guides – we’ve “been there and done that” but one of our tasks is we are not to foreshadow any of the nifty things which are going to come about.  Allowing each member to experience this for themselves.  This truly is a self-discovery class.

That said, I’ve been patiently (truly) waiting on this week 9 to arrive so I could share this again. The phrase and it’s corresponding benefits really truly resonate with me – I reflect on it – I use it – consistently.   I had a business card holder engraved with the phrase from this week so that I am constantly in touch with it and reminded of the verbiage.

A few months ago I was doodling and came up with a correlating drawing of what this means to me.  It’s what I’m currently using as my Picture on Twitter. I’ve included both the Poem I wrote last year and the art work I created to go with it.  Enjoy!

decorative-line-divider bottom

We read, in week 9 of The Master Key System, by Charles F. Haanel, [1919], the most wonderfully fulfilling and all encompassing affirmation.

Haanel states “It cannot be improved upon.”  Frederick Andrews offered “Not only did I affirm it for myself, but for others that I knew needed it.”

I do not try to improve upon – only expand upon it to allow myself to understand what this statement means to me. I offer my writing here, to affirm this for myself and for any whom it resonates for.  Thank you for allowing.  I share it with an abundance of love and blessings to all who read on!

Multi-Squirreling – DoWoo #88/365

Woo Hoo DoWoo – my favourite #!  I remember seeing a cartoon on the television when I was little all about the #8.  It is my first recollection of choosing a favourite # and why.

It’s an interesting exercise in memory.  I sat here and tried to think how to search for this and what came to mind was “Conjunction Junction…what’s your function…hooking up words and phrases and clauses.”  From this I was able to find out that this series was called “Schoolhouse Rock” which allowed me to search for Schoolhouse Rock 8 and find…you guessed it!  This is what started it all!  (including my vehicle license plate 888 YOJ – joy spelled backwards!)

Carolynn Sokil 2So what does this have to do with multi-squirreling? Absolutely nothing other than being distracted in multiple ways in multiple directions was what I chose to write about and then THIS is where it all ended up. SQUIRRELED….to infinity and beyond!!

What’s your favourite # and why?

Share or Not Share? – DoWoo #87/365

Now THIS was the blog I started to write last night when my DoWoo-ing decided to have a mind of its own.

dream-bigDuring our evening out with these fantastic people last night, I had the pleasure of speaking with a woman who, in a very quick time frame, left me with the feeling I had just met a kind, compassionate and loving soul.  When she spoke about her kids and her relationship, she was witty, direct and heartfelt. We discussed a variety of areas as we got to know each other a bit.

We were discussing dreams and those leaps we take, when we move out of our comfort zone to take our life to the next level towards our dream.  She mentioned not having shared with a part of her family about a particularly large step she and her husband had recently made towards their dream…saying “Why would I share my big dream with small people?”

dream-big-dont-let-small-minds-convince-you-otherwiseThis got me to thinking.  In the Master Key class we speak about having a dream – a clear “Definite Major Purpose” for your life. We write it down, concentrate on it and share it with others. At one point we discuss shouting it from the roof tops (metaphorically speaking) for all to hear so it is “out there”.  This way others know to encourage us to do what we say we are going to do.

dream-big-miniHowever,  on the flip size is the the other option. Choosing not to share your dream with others who you believe will not understand. Until recently this has been part of my MO (modus operandi) for most of my adult life – choosing who I share my dreams with. It has not been from fear they would not understand: Rather it was my concern they would take this information and concentrate on it in a negative way. IF they did not know about it, they could not have an opinion and therefore would not be able to put any negative energy “out there” about my dream.  However…they would also not be in a position to put any positive energy “out there” with my name on it either!

So what do you think?

A)  Shout your dream from the roof top for everyone to hear;

OR

B) Choose who you share your dream with – leaving out those who
may put a negative twist on it, while limiting your exposure?

l-Dream-big

PLEASE don’t leave without sharing your opinion on this query. Love to hear other’s thoughts!

Creative Influence – DoWoo #85/365

Twenty-Dollar-BillThis morning Gregory commented, while he was eating his breakfast, that he “found a random $20 on the black dresser in the kitchen”.  How is a $20 bill lying on the counter considered ‘random’?  And how could he find it if it was never lost?

9780439791311This evening he came in to the office to tell me that upon reviewing the school book order magazine, he found another book.  There was a special holiday book from his favourite series. And it was ONLY available through the magazine. He trotted off to brush is teeth.

Later when we were doing his before sleep cuddle / chat, he reminded me of the book. I asked him about it.  It was double the price of the usual books because it was special.  Was he asking us to purchase both this book and the other he had asked for?  He looked at me thoughtfully and said he was not sure he wanted to spend his Christmas money on the book. The conversation moved onto other things.

I’m appreciating how our little man does his best to timely comment and share information when he already has the final outcome imagined.

What do we do with Time? – DoWoo #86/365

logo_thai_room_vaughanSpent this evening with an absolutely fantastic group of people. People with vision. People with faith. People with purpose. People with the ability to help others help themselves. What a GREAT way to spend my time!

Whoa…Wait a sec…What is it about that phrase which makes me take pause?  Had not thought about it till now…not till I typed it in the first paragraph.  Why DO we consider time to be “spent”?

thumbnail_1364296452The definitions of “spend” mostly include reference to money being paid out or used.  However, the Merriam Webster version (online) does include “to allow (time) to pass in a particular place or while doing a particular activity”

Interestingly though the same Merriam Webster defines the past tense of spend – “spent” to be “used up; exhausted of active or required components or qualities often for a particular purpose; drained of energy or effectiveness”.

Is this what we do with time?

gallery_SPENDING TIME WITH FAMILY-GALLERY3Spend it – meaning to “allow it to pass” – Personally,  I embraced it and used it, enjoyed it and reveled in it.  How is this “allowing it to pass”?

Spent it – meaning to “use it up or exhaust it” – Personally, I have it here with me now as I can recall it, feel it, learn from it and most of all grow as a human being because of it. So…How is this “using it up or exhausting it”?

What do you think?

What A Difference a Day Makes – DoWoo #84/365

2014-11-22 14.21.5220141123_102057Greg decided to make a snow man out of the last of the wet snow yesterday.  This morning….well, not so much!

What a difference a day makes!

So many areas of our life could benefit from this perspective.  With many being the reverse of this melted snowman – looking better the following day once you move from the drama of the moment into the reflection that comes after time passes.   All things DO happen for a reason.

Imagine learning how to do this with all aspects of your life?

Effort In = Results Out – DoWoo # 83/365

Was speaking with a young lady today about our network marketing business. While I did my best not to have an opinion I did stray to what Walter assured me was coaching.  Whew.

codependence 5We were speaking about people requiring too much of us – in that we coach and give and be-there for them when they start out on our team. But then some of these people become either dependent on us or demanding of us. When this has happened to me, I’ve gotten frustrated and have had to walk away from the situation in order to remain in any semblance of a positive productive space.  However, I’ve ended up leaving a partner without my support and feel less than stellar for having done so.  This is not who I wish to ‘be’.

quote-if-you-put-in-time-effort-you-will-see-the-results-474x550Now – Imagine sitting down with your new partner, before they sign, with an outline of the recommended steps (whatever your business system is) to maximize the results of their new business. Operative word here is their business!  And we explain that the amount of effort they put in will typically result in a similar amount of return financially.  So even if someone has already coached their new recruit through the “Ink is Still Drying” skills from Mark J, having a list of the steps it is recommend for them to take to maximize their particular compensation allows you the opportunity to discuss and fully understand what your new person is willing to do. Setting expectations for both you and them.

The benefits of network marketing (as compared to the corporate world) is an individual’s personal efforts (as long as they are productive efforts) typically yields reciprocal results as long as they stay the course and follow whatever system is in place.  However, if there are 10 items on the list and your new partner is only willing to do 2 out of 10, then they should be coached that their potential results may be a similar % of the potential income available and/or take much longer to reach certain financial positions.

c790dcb90d3bc6e6_148350975.previewAn aside: Many may consider network marketing it is ultimately about leverage but unless you can reach a level yourself – how can you teach others to reach a similar level? To teach others to reach higher levels? To have a team who will build teams without you? We have to start somewhere! Why not set all the expectations up front.  We can control only what we do. We cannot control what they do.   They need to understand this as much as we do.

This got me to thinking about the Master Key Experience:  Mark comments this is not a buffet where you can pick and choose what you are wiling to do.  If there are 10 things requested of you in the class – be it honour or tangible requirements – and you choose only to do a few…well then the results you can expect are either going to be less than full or take a much longer time to see.

Effort In has a direct correlation to the Results Out

bc416f71add7798a963af454273179f1Is this not the same law which comes into play with what we feed our body? What we put into our mind? How we treat others? How we deal with life on a daily or moment by moment basis?

So if we want our full blown future realty – everything we imagine our life to be – our hopes our dream – we need to give it our all.  As Mark says – we all quit.  Either we quit doing it all together or we quit doing it less than 100%.

Which one are you?

The “Other” Heart – DoWoo #82/365

poghnvqfk81azzoDo you remember being little and doing whatever you could possibly do to extend going to bed? Not brushing your teeth so you got to get up again. Needing more water. Forgetting to go to the bathroom. Needing to get your night time hug or cuddle in (again!).  Greg seems to be going through this type of routine right now.

bearhugThe other night Greg asked Walter for one more cuddle to which Walter explained that Gregory is always getting a cuddle because he (Walter) is always thinking about Gregory and envisioning the best of everything with lots of love. So he is constantly wrapped in a continuous all-day cuddle of love.

two-hearts1Gregory called out to to Walter as he was leaving the bedroom and said: “There are 2 kinds of hearts.”  Whether this was delay tactic # 642 or not, it was good enough to have Walter walking back into Greg’s room. How is that?   “There is one heart which pumps your blood and another which gives all the love.”   Interesting DoWoo from our 9 year old.

044-upanishads-meditation-on-the-door-keepers-vayu-and-the-heart-chakra1My carryover from Scroll I was:

“As I repeat the words daily  they become a part of my active mind, but more important, they seep into my other mind, that mysterious source, which never sleeps, which creates my dreams and often makes me act in ways I do not comprehend.”

So…if we have 2 minds (the active and the other), we most certainly can have 2 hearts.  We just need to fill the other one with love so it seeps out into the world.

How did you spread love today?

“To ____ or not to____” – DoWoo #81/365

essentialhqdefaultMost everyone has heard the expression “To be or not to be, that is the question”  In this case it appears “To die or not to die, that is the question.”

Right now both of Walter’s parents (90 and 92) and my mom (85) are not in the best of health. Walter’s mom caught pneumonia and was hospitalized.  She was determined to go home and the hospital allowed her to do so. Within a few days she was back, this time at a different hospital, and now has ‘double’ pneumonia (affecting both lungs). She is  the worse I’ve ever seen her.

1044304-Royalty-Free-RF-Clip-Art-Illustration-Of-A-Cartoon-Feisty-Granny-Running-With-A-WalkerPlease allow me to explain something about my mother-in-law. She is one of the feisty-est elderly persons I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. When I married into this family over 10 years ago, she commented Now Vlady is married, I can die.  Supposedly she has been waiting to die for over 20 years. They have paid for the plot, the ceremony and the stone is already partially engraved. The only thing which changes is the burial outfit as the seasons keep changing on her.  Since the family do not wish to loose her, they have been telling her to wait till something else transpires before she can leave us.  So I joined in on the plan and said “You need to wait till we have a child.”  Our son turned 9 in the summer. Since his birth we’ve been using that she needs to wait to see him grow up!

So fast forward to this week.  She is in the hospital and is refusing to eat, drink or take her medication.  She explained to Walter that she had a dream and they (the hospital staff) are trying to poison her. She won’t take what they offer her…because she does not want to die.

Hmmm…I believe this is what we can refer to as irony. We think we want something until it faces us and then we decide that it is not what we wanted. The observation: Every day is precious. We must embrace it to it’s fullest. We cannot plan our departure but if somehow it is today, let it be that we have no regrets.

My Epiphany? – DoWoo #80/365

crystal-ball1Yesterday I spoke up during a group call. I allowed my gut vision for someone else to come into play. And then…wait for it…I articulated it clearly, specifically and did not pull any punches; being brutally honest and communicating from my core.  This gentleman envisions himself speaking in front of people – inspiring many with his words. He truly has so much to share with the world. HIS story is very powerful and would touch many. It touched me.

I passionately suggested he stop holding back waiting for everything to be perfect. Suggested he share now via blogging – which generates a following – which results in the speaking engagements he sees.    He thanked the group for our words, encouragement and direction.

So for the last 24 hours I have been feeling really good.  I am hopeful he will follow our encouragement and if he does I have played my part with my words.

Interestingly I’m just realizing this….seriously….as I type….I gave him the same advice I need to be giving myself.  Whoa this whole blog just shifted.

flat,550x550,075,f.u1Remember all things happen to show you something which you need to reflect upon. This message apparently was also meant for me.

So…the advice I need to take is that I have much to offer. My stories. My struggles. My ability to adjust and grow and learn. Combined with my ability to share and articulate the vision…these are within me NOW.  I do not need to wait until something huge has shifted to take my stand. I need only embrace what I already have at my disposal and the rest will come. I have something to offer and what I say has the ability to help others.  I need not wait.

Apparently I’m a little slow on the uptake.  I’m only now connecting the dots.  LOLAMS – Laugh Out Loud At MySelf

Shift back to earlier this morning –  I received an email from an organization  hosting “A Soul Based Retreat Workshop for Entrepreneurs” – they accepting my proposed session.  I will be speaking at this retreat in a few months!

My epiphany?

I found me!

Now THAT was fun! I typed a heading. Then had an idea in my head. Once I started typing
it just shifted, rearranging itself into the above post. Thank you for sticking with me on this one.

A Change in Reflection – DoWoo #79/365

Walter has agreed to be my “lovely assistant” as the magicians say.  That is,,,he has agreed to use the product I am using and allow me record his progress (using before and after photos). I joke saying we’re going to turn him from this,,,,,

download into this domestic-labrador-puppy-canis-familiaris-sleeping

Here is a man who must truly love his wife…because he has agreed to faithfully wash his face before bed each night and use product for 90 days.  I am blessed.

So…we were standing in front of the mirror…with me giving him instructions as we do this together.  Wash your face. After rinsing, use a wet washcloth to leave your face damp. Apply product to your face. He turns to me and asks….

Where does my face endWe both laughed so hard his face dried and we had to dampen it again.

This is not about wrinkles or removing them. It’s not about product or no product. It’s also not about the things men do to keep their wives happy.

It’s about one change which then reflects something totally different in the mirror.  After shaving his remaining hair line regularly, where DOES his face end and the rest begin?

Changing one thing in your life – and then doing it regularly – will change what you see reflected in the mirror.

What do you want to see reflected when you look in the mirror?

Who’s teaching Whom? – DoWoo #78/365

I love how every day either I am able to personally observe something which resonates or if I don’t, one of my men do!  Greg talks about “dowoo-ing” regularly.  Walter is a close second.

This evening I was just about to get on the Master Key Digital Connections call when Walter bounces into the office – literally vibrating with excitement about something. He then shares the following story.

6e11d5fe9e6a318258292da907963c3914e40f6cHe and Greg were finishing up their dinner while I was getting ready for the call. Greg asked Walter to play Mario Kart. Walter explained that he needed to wrap everything up in the kitchen and then get on the call and…  He then looked at Gregory and said “No. We are going to go play Mario Kart.”

Greg's PhrasesGregory put his fork down on the table, looked straight at his father and solemnly counseled. “Don’t waste your time making your life better: Use what you’ve got already.”  Walter quickly wrote it down to ensure he could share with me.

Upon reflection he turned to Gregory and said “This is the Law of Gratitude. Do you know what it means to be grateful?” No.  So Walter went on to explain that it means to be thankful for what you have. Gregory proceeded to discuss and give personal examples of his understanding of the discussion (something we encourage him to do which has now become second nature). One example was that he does not think about having Wii-U – he has a Wii-Mini and he is grateful he has this.

20141117_190605Gregory explained he had the definition in one of his books.  He ran upstairs and grabbed one of his Geronimo Stilton books “The Volcano of Fire” (These are just about all he reads right now and will rake leaves for hours to earn $ to purchase them.)  He flipped to page 81 where he shows his father the definition of Gratitude.

Both are phenomenal aspects of gratitude to incorporate into one’s life.  I am personally grateful our son appreciates what he has, is able to clearly articulate this aspect of his understanding and belief system and has the ability to associate what he reads to how we are living our life with him.

thank youWhat a beautiful way to wrap up my day.
I am grateful you stopped by and allowed me to share.

I own it! – DoWoo #77/365

“We are all self-made, but only the successful will admit it.”  Earl Nightingale.

Should_I_Start_My_Own_Consulting_Business_heroWalter shared the above quote Walter from a call he was on this evening.  Meanwhile I had been on the phone with a friend of mine.  Upon hearing my DoWoo post from yesterday and the day before, she observed and that no matter what was going on, I “owned it”.

In our Master Key webcast today they spoke about recognizing that no matter what road we are on, we chose the road. We need to own it.

JugglingI admit I have not been as committed to the daily Master Key process up till now, allowing the myriad of balls I am constantly juggling to be partially my excuse.  The bottom line is that it is still an excuse. I need to own it.  However, I am not going to beat myself up for anything  I have not done up till now – “Today ends at midnight” as Walter often reminds me. So, what now?

own-itI own my thoughts! I own my feelings! I own my belief! Most of all, I own my journey! So I choose, in writing to you and myself, I own my success! Therefore as the Blue Print Builder states “I know I have the abillity to achieve the object of my Definite Major Purpose in Life, therefore I demand of myself Persistent, Continuous Action towards its attainment and I hear and now promise to render such action.

I own my life!

A Struggle of Opinion – DoWoo #76/365

the-struggle-is-part-of-the-story-Whitney-EnglishToday I struggled with my opinion and others. A colleague offered her opinion about what I had created for the team. She provided the details as to how, in her opinion, it would be better presented.  While I believe I am open to others perspectives, there is a difference between sharing and discussing ideas and when someone decides to share, without being asked, starting out with criticism of the existing ‘xyz’ and then offering improvement.   It definitely puts the receiver into an awkward position.  I observe this particular case could have had a different result had the person with the opinion been aware of how they were presenting their thoughts.

life-choicesIn considering where I went with my opinion today, it was not about sharing but more about having made a suggestion and not liking the response.  It’s not that what was suggested would not take place, it was when it would take place. And in this case, I definitely had an opinion. While I did not voice my opinion, I did allow that opinion to arise in my thoughts, ultimately altering how I felt about the project and my involvement.   I had to ask myself, was this really necessary?  While I am involved, this is not my project. Those whose “gig” it is have the final say in how things are handled.  So, any choices in when something is delivered is truly up to them, and therefore the outcome (whatever the outcome) is also truly theirs.

manager03rb1I release my opinions and observe: I have the daily ability to control how I feel by recognizing true perspective on all matters. So…is this my monkey? If so, allow myself to give it a hug. If it’s not my monkey, let it (and all thoughts associated with it to) go.

If this sharing of my personal struggle with opinions ultimately helps another realign their thoughts…I would be honoured and blessed.  In the meantime, I proceed with my realignment.

Shifting Towards Understanding – DoWoo #75/365

1009377_brains_neuron_iStock_000004422514Small1I truly believe I am catching glimpses of another shift. A space where all that we have learned from Haanel, Og, Mark J, The Fab Davene and Trish is indeed reality. It’s almost like we are on a train which takes us past spaces where the power of your mind is indeed within Universal Mind – in perfect harmony – co-existing (based upon our current space) and yet existing as one.

On the train we move quickly through our daily existence – in some way it just becomes an absolute blur. But when you slow down – enough to catch glimpses of what exits outside the train – then you realize you have a choice of what type of life you lead.

DIVERGENTThe catch? You have to jump off the train. This space we are in exists in perpetual motion. So…it’s scary. What happens if what is ‘out there” is not what we envision it to be – maybe we were incorrect in our understanding?

Aha! I believe the quote goes something like: “The results of acting inspite of your fear is equal to, or in excess of, the depth of the fear itself”.

Now…it is possible…there may be an even more important question to be asked here.

What happens if you don’t jump off the train?

? marks the spot! – DoWoo #74/365

Was looking for a particular video of our son when he was younger but came across the one below.  Greg was just under 5 when we went back to the Dominican Republic to show him where Mommy & Daddy got married – and to enjoy a few weeks on the beach. We watched parts of the movie Pirates of the Caribbean.  The next day Walter explained that he overheard pirates at the eatery by the pool talking about misplacing their treasure map. They went in search of it. What transpired could be indicative of all our hopes and dreams.

An alignment of where we are relative to everything shown.

A trek out to the farthest point to get perspective.

A run down the coast line until you spot what you are looking for.

Careful examination of your new position.

Purposeful strides to…you guessed it…X marks the spot.

Velado!
